Western Lifestyle Family Photoshoot

A windy windy day at the ranch! As I headed north toward the border of Canada I was excited to see this family again. We made a solid attempt to brave the wind for just a few shots with that gorgeous landscape of the ranch in the background. A few frozen hands and a rogue milk cow later we spent the rest of the afternoon hiding out around the barns and corrals.

Toward the end, when we were warming up in the shop, I spotted Joren’s work coat. Let’s just be you guys now! I wanted a real-life picture of them. So we got the stock trailer out to block the wind and everyone got in, minus the milk cow. To this day it is one of my favorite family photos! It’s just them!

And to be honest I’m most comfortable in my coveralls. It’s fun to dress up but I’ve come to love incorporating both looks in a shoot.
