Tara & Matt

The day was warm and breezy, with puffy clouds in the sky and just the right amount of sunshine to make the occasion feel special. As we arrived at the Copper Rose Ranch, we were struck by the sight of the towering snow-capped mountains in the distance. I knew from the start that we had captured the most perfect day for a wedding in Montana.

Tara, the bride, was buzzing with excitement as she prepared for her big day. She was surrounded by her bridesmaids and her mom as she got ready! Beauty By M did an amazing job on her hair and makeup!

One of the most touching moments was when Tara’s dad surprised her with a beautiful emerald necklace. He initially told her that he would pick something out and surprise her. She suggested the necklace but her parents had pretended that they were not able to order it in time, but they secretly purchased it and her dad surprised her with it. She was overjoyed and grateful to have the necklace she wanted. 

As we gathered at the base of the mountains, Tara made her entrance. Her bouquet was made to look like wildflowers, her request to the florist, Rooted In Montana. They pulled it off seamlessly!

The ceremony was intimate and emotional. Matt was beaming as Tara walked down the aisle. As they met they were glowing, and this spoke volumes about their deep affection for each other. As they exchanged heartfelt vows and placed rings on each other’s fingers, there was a palpable sense of joy and love between the two of them!

The bride and groom took some time with their wedding party to relax after the ceremony while the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour. By 6 pm the reception was in full swing. The beautifully restored barn at The Copper Rose Ranch provided a rustic yet elegant atmosphere. The guests enjoyed a delicious meal by Double T Catering and then danced and celebrated the love between Tara and Matt. Joe’s DJ Service made the evening a blast!

THE COPPER ROSE RANCH

The Copper Rose Ranch in the heart of Paradise Valley, Montana is a stunning venue that seamlessly blends rustic charm with elegant sophistication. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with breathtaking views of the surrounding Absaroka Mountain Range, which serve as a perfect backdrop for any special occasion.

The ranch itself is meticulously maintained, with beautiful landscaping and charming touches like a wooden fence and beautifully manicured grounds. Inside, you’ll find a spacious yet cozy interior that’s perfect for hosting weddings of up to 250 guests.

The main event space is a large barn that’s been fully converted into a beautiful reception area. Inside, you’ll find high ceilings with exposed beams, antique crystal chandeliers, a stone fireplace, and plenty of space for dining and dancing. The barn also features a fully stocked bar, which is a great place to enjoy a drink or two with friends and family.

One of the highlights of the Copper Rose Ranch is the stunning outdoor ceremony area, which is set against a backdrop of towering mountains and rolling hills. The ceremony area is surrounded by lush greenery and wildflowers, creating a beautiful and natural setting for your special day.

My favorite part of the day was our first look. I was getting nervous the closer I got to being ready & the anticipation was killing me during photos with my dad & bridesmaids. Then when I was standing behind him, I had an overwhelming sense of calm and excitement come over me. A couple of highlights were my first look with my dad & getting to spend the morning relaxing with my friends that have been my biggest supporters.

When we first toured Copper Rose Ranch, I fell in love with the property & the gorgeous backdrop the Absaroka’s offered. Matt told me “Don’t fall in love with the first place.” I did. I wanted a stunning location that would shock Matt’s flatlander family. And boy did it! 

We hired what we feel were the greatest vendors ever! From catering to flowers & especially photographers we nailed it. With the break in spring snow storms, the sunshine came out & we had the most spectacular day!

From Matt–

My favorite part of the day was being with Tara & getting to marry Tara. We had an amazing group of people come to show how much they cared about us. There was a large portion that have been there all along to help us get to that day.
